Hamsters

For those of you who got a Fighting Machine for Christmas and want to do a quick Fighting Machine to hamster conversion, I’ve posted a helpful guide. The original Hamster to F.M. guide is below. I have no idea who made it. Purrington? Also, there’s a crazy amount of snow in New York City. This morning, on an exploratory mission to Starbucks, I had to eat one of my dogs (hot dogs). Also, I’m never drawing a hamster again. I hate drawing them. Their noses defy categorization. What differentiates them from a mouse? How should I know? The careful observer will notice that I drew the hamster differently in every panel. The even more astute observer will notice that this was because I never figured out how to draw a hamster.

  1. Mr. Beran, this is a delightful counterpoint to the horrors of Fighting Machinery. With such casualty do the purveyors of knives and ‘hesives pitch their products, regardless of consequence for man or machine. I’ve asked my loved ones to pitch in and get me a Fighting Machine for New Year’s Eve; we’ll see how well your method (or a method of my own de-vicing) works.

(As a tiny note, the topline headbar thing on the “Love thy hamster” page bears the curious mark, “Raisins D’Etre Page 1.” Whyever could it mean?)

(Tinier note: like your new com-icsalot.)

Whooops! Fixed! Thanks, Splendorr! It means I am not good at computers!

    • I’m increasingly of the mind that not being good at computers may actually be an okay trait. They can take up a tremendous amount of effort that might be better directed toward sitting on rooftops with a magic marker, or repeatedly envisioning yourself exploding into different materials. Tell me what computer can do either one of those things. Tell me.

Your web sites are the first to ever make me want to tell Google Chrome Web Browser to “Be a Whole Screen Mode.” Absolutely gorgeous when splayed out over every inch of this screen. So NOW who’s good at computers.

I didn’t mean to get confrontational and demanding in the course of this comment, but I managed both. A blouse and a pollen jeeves.

Is the Hampster –> fighting machine original the work of Andrew Hussie? I seem to remember this on one of his comickin’ sites a long time ago. He currently does that http://mspaintadventures.com/ stuff.
