Wendell Luckow, a film student at Colorado University in Boulder Colorado, has adapted A Lesson Is Learned Episode 10 “NOW WE ARE POOR AGAIN” into a melancholic short film for the Boulder 24 Hour Shootout, a shoot-a-film-in-24-hours contest (which must involve a shooting). Ok, well I made that last rule up. Find it here!

If I remember correctly, this is the third film student film adaptation of A Lesson is Learned comic, but bears the distinction of being the first one posted on the internet.  However, we’re well on our way to a total Star Wars Uncut-esque recreation of the run!

I redesigned some of the secondary pages on The Nerds of Paradise with a new “hungry-caterpillar” style background.  Does this herald site’s/possibly internet’s transformation into wondrous multicolored butterfly?
